Job Description
Job Scope and Purpose:
- Sales Administration / sales order management for complex, upscale machines through the whole sales and delivery cycle – starting from establishing quotations, tenders, contracts via delivery to the customer until invoicing and follow-up of payments at the end of the order management cycle.
- Close cooperation with sales, finance, service and project management functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handling major Sales Accounts and Projects
- Establish customer quotations and prepare tender documents and contracts in close cooperation with sales and other functions of the organization
- Manage purchase inquiries and orders with our main suppliers
- Manage customer contracts, payment securing guarantees like Letter of Credits, deliveries according to INCOTERMS, Export Control Issues
- Processing of sales orders internally and externally (ERP System, suppliers, freight forwarders, etc.)
- Invoicing and follow-up of customer payments
- Monitor customer’s credit limits and accounts receivable
- Reporting of order / project status according to defined reporting structure and tools in place
- Support the team in trouble shooting of complex situations
Requirements:
- At least 5 to 8 years experience in Sales, Sales Support & Administration, Business Development, Management of Sales Orders for abroad customers preferably located in Middle East and/or Africa Region
- Fluency in written and spoken English and/or French, and/or Portuguese and/or Arabic
- Proven capability / experience in the leadership of a small team
- Strong customer oriented approach
- Advanced business related degree (engineering or commercial)
- High professional appearance; natural authority; good leadership stance
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
