Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

·         University degree, graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Mechanical Engineering  is paramount;

·         Ideally a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position;

·         Knowledge and experience in general management and a strong grasp of marketing and sales, employee management, finance and accounting;

·         Knowledge and experience in logistics / land transport and fleet management sector in a similar environment is a definite plus;

·         Good reading / writing of English and Arabic is essential;

·         Usage of MS Office programmes;

·         Good planning, organizational,coordination and control, managerial skills are essential;

·         Good communication and strong human relations attributes are important;

·         Should have completed military service;

·         Have a current driver’s licence;

JOB DESCRIPTION

As ‘’ Asistant Country Manager’’, you will be reporting to directly to the Country Manager in Sudan and indirectly to the Executive Board in Turkey.

You will be responsible for the following key tasks :

management and overseeing of all personnel in Port Sudan and Port Sudan Workshop as well as drivers; manage the marketing and sales function  to maximize sales volumes and income of the logistics business, create competitive strategies, increase productivity and foster growth through business development;  manage and control all operating and overhead expenses, operating profit and loss balance of the company; organise and manage corporate risks, controls, and reporting processes;develop and follow  all public and governmental relations;coordinate with Country Manager and the Executive Board on all important strategic matters.use of market research tools to determine effectiveness of marketing as well as customer perceptions and expectations are an essential part of the job scope.
