Job Description
Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, you will be tasked with managing the supply network of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives while maintaining optimal stock cover. You will be meeting objectives with regards to working capital and distribution costs and will be required to analyse and evaluate the supply plans and will need to consistently achieve sustainable customer service levels for customers within the working capital objectives. In addition, you will determine key issues with volume variance which may impact supply and will highlight any issues to the relevant manager.
This role will also be responsible for implementing improvements to deliver tangible benefits and ensuring actions and supply plans are realistic and achievable.
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must have at least 2 years experience in a similar or relevant supply planning position. Candidates with customer service experience and exposure to LEAN concepts and tools will be given priority. In addition, candidates must have experience effectively using all supply planning systems functionally.
